Career :
Started playing basketball in Slovenia, Vujacic signed his first professional contract with Snaidero Udine of Italy, for which he played between 2001 and 2004. Based on his remarkable performance, he was drafted by Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the 2004 NBA draft. After playing for Lakers for six seasons and appearing in only 11 games in his last season with Lakers, the Slovenian joined New Jersey Nets in the 2010-11 season. Vujacic played 56 games with New Jersey Nets the last season, averaging 28.30 minutes, 11.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
As a member of Los Angeles Lakers, Vujacic played in 2008 NBA final and won the NBA championship title in 2009 and 2010. Vujacic scored a total of 2669 points in a total of 476 NBA games he played starting from 2004. Previously called up to the Slovenian National Teams for many times, Vujacic also contributed remarkably to the U-18 national team in winning the silver medal in the 2002 U-18 European Championship.
