Career :
Started playing basketball with Şekerspor at the age of 19, Kerem Gönlüm played for TED Ankara College for two years and then joined Ülker where he played for six years. In the 2005-06 season, Gönlüm joined Efes Pilsen.
Gönlüm played 31 games in the Beko Basketball League during the last season, averaging 12.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists. He also played 15 games in the last season’s Turkish Airlines Euroleague, averaging 9.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists.He won the Turkish League championship title in the 2008-09 season, the Turkish Cup title in the 2005-06, 2006-07 and 2008-09 seasons, and the Presidential Cup in the both the 2006 and 2009 seasons as a member of Efes Pilsen.
Gönlüm made significant contribution to the Senior National Team in winning the silver medal in the 2010 World Basketball Championship which was hosted by Turkey.He was also selected to the Senior National Team for the 2011 European Basketball Championship, but he could not go to Lithuania with the team due to an injury he suffered during one of the team’s training sessions.
