In day 16 home game of Beko Basketball League Anadolu Efes faced Erdemir and won the game by 82-53. Anadolu Efes was leading at the halftime at Sinan Erdem Arena in the leading position by 43-27.
The starting five of Anadolu Efes were Kerem, Kinsey, Cenk, Savanovic and Batista and Batista scored the first points for Anadolu Efes. In minute 2.30, the opponent was leading by 8-2, and Savanovic scored seven points consecutively, and before the television timeout in minute five, Anadolu Efes was on the losing side by one point difference: 9-10. Following the timeout, through the points Batista scored, Anadolu Efes was leading for the first time in the game, and following the triples Kinsey and Sinan scored, Efes was leading in the last three minutes of the quarter by 17-10. Erdemir called a timeout in this minute, and following the timeout, Kinsey continued to score and Anadolu Efes finished the first half in the leading position by 21-15.
Anadolu Efes opened the second period with points scored by Lafayette and Kisney, and played aggressive defense in this part of the game; the opponent managed to score the first points of the second period in minute 15: 26-17. Savanovic’s triple forced the opponent to call a timeout; and following the timeout, Cenk scored a three-pointer: 32-17. In the last three minutes of the first half, Lafayette scored consecutively and Anadolu Efes was leading at halftime by 43-27.
Batista scored the first points for Anadolu Efes in the second half; following these points, Savanovic scored consecutively and in minute 25, the score was 52-29. Following this score, Sinan and Gökhan joined the team; following the points Kinsey, Sinan and Gökhan scored, Anadolu Efes was dominating the game in the last two minutes of the period by 60-33. In the last two minutes of the period, Barac scored under the board and Anadolu Efes finished this period with a 33-point difference by 68-35.
Sinan scored the first points for Anadolu Efes in the final period; in minute 32, Barac took the score to 73-35. Following the points Sinan and Batista scored in minute 35 , Anadolu Efes was leading by 77-44 and with two minutes to go, Batista and Gökhan scored under the board, and Anadolu Efes was leading by 81-50. Anadolu Efes maintained its dominating position until the end of the game and won the game by 82-53.
