In day two away game of Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top 16 E Group Anadolu Efes lost to CSKA Moscow by 96-68. Anadolu Efes was also on the losing side at A. Gomelsky Universal Arena by 48-36 at halftime.

The starting five of Anadolu Efes were Kerem, Vujacic, Kinsey, Savanovic and Batista and Vujacic scored the first points for Anadolu Efes. With points scored by Batista, Anadolu Efes was leading in minute two by 4-2; following the points Vujacic scored, in minute five the home side was leading 9-8. Following the television timeout in this minute, Vujacic scored his eight point and placed Efes in the leading position once again: 10-9. Kinsey stole the ball from Teodosic and nailed the slam dunk, scoring Efes’ 12th point; Vujacic’s triple equalised the score: 15-15. Following the mid-distance two-pointer by the Captain Tunçeri, and points scored by Vujacic and Kinsey, Efes finished the first period on the losing side 23-21.
Lafayette scored our first two-pointer in the second period; in minute 13, when the score was 23-29, Ufuk Sarıca called a timeout. Following the timeout, Barac scored two points in free throws and Efes took the score in 14.30 to 25-31. In minute 16, the difference was 14 at 39-25 and the coach Sarıca called one more timeout. Savanovic broke our silence with a three-pointer; in the last 2.30 minutes of the half, the score was 28-43. Cenk joined the team in this quarter and scored two points in free throws, dropping the difference to 13 points: 30-43. In the last two minutes of the first half, Barac scored four points and Lafayette scored two points in free throws and Anadolu Efes ended the first half as the losing side by 48-36.

Savanovic scored Efes’ first two-pointer in the second half; in minute 22, the home side was leading by 52-38. In minute 23, when the score was 38-58, coach Sarıca called a timeout. Following the timeout, the opponent continued to score while Vujacic in minute 25, the score was 41-64. Following the points Batista and Sinan scored, with 2.20 to go before the end of the quarter, the score was 48-69, and in the remaining time, following the points Barac scored, Efes finished the third period on the losing side by 74-53.

Anadolu Efes started the final period with a two-pointer Sinan scored and with points Barac scored in minute 33.30, the score was 59-80. In minute 35, following the points Savanovic scored in free throws, Efes scored the 61st point and before the timeout in this minute the score was 85-61. Following Vujacic’s layup, with four minutes to go Efes was on the losing side by 88-63; in the remaining time, the opponent maintained its leading position and Anadolu Efes lost the game by 96-68.
