Efes Pilsen's successful player Ender Arslan said that he worked with Velimir Perasoviç, Efes’ new coach, and that they would play good basketball in the new season under the Croatian coach who is extremely strict.

Ender Arslan continued his statment saying that: “6-7 players from the last season will continue with the team in the new season, I believe that the fact that we have a quite big number of players who know each other is an advantage. Underlying the fact that in the last season they could not achieve their goals in Europe and in the league though they had very good players, Ender Arslan said “We need to take lessons from the last season and consider the next one. The next season will be far better for us.”.

Stating his opinions on the national team, Ender Arslan said that the national team might win a medal in the World Championship. Stating that they are aware of the fact that they should finish the group stage in the top two, Ender said “We need to end the group in the most advantageous position.”.

Saying that they played very well in the European Championship held in Poland in 2009, Ender said: “At the end, the result was not what we wanted but we played very well until the quarter finals and in the quarter final game. We lost our concentration when we were beaten by Greece in the quarter final. The other teams had targets before them to participate in the world championship. But we lacked such targets. When we lost in the quarter final, we experienced decrease in physical and motivational situation. But we played well until that game and in that game. If we play like we did in 2009 European Championship, we can have a chance to win a medal in the world championship.”
